Title | Locus standi |
Details | The right to sue. If any person moves to the court of law with a case, the court shall first want to be convinced that the person has right to sue and the court shall definitely ask him whether that person has any right to sue. The concept ‘locus standi’ has been extended in many cases relating to Public Interest Litigation and it has been decided that a person need not to be directly aggrieved to file a case, any person shall have the right to sue if he is indirectly aggrieved as well. |
