One of the Divisions of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. According to Art. 101 of the Constitution the High Court Division shall have such jurisdiction as are conferred on it by the Constitution and by other laws. The main sources of legal jurisdiction of the High Court Division are the Codes of Civil and Criminal Procedure which provide appellate and revisional jurisdictions.

High Court Division shall mean the High court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh constituted under the Constitution. [S. 3(24a) of the General Clauses Act, 1897]

“the High Court Division” means the High Court division of the Supreme Court. [Art. 152(1) of the Constitution of Bangladesh, 1972]
