Details

Quasi-judicial is the forum which is not a constituted legal authority but performs activities analogue to those conducted by court. It is partly judicial character by possession of the right to hold hearings on and conduct investigations into disputed claims and alleged infractions of rules and regulations and to make decisions in the general manner of courts. The word ‘quasi’ as prefixed to the word ‘judicial’ may either indicate that the tribunal is not acting purely administratively or that it is acting in a manner in which a judicial tribunal is expected to act.
