Vote is a sacred trust of the nation and the correct use of ballot is a national obligation. In the Act No.6 of 2009 the commission has been provid­ed with authority to include qualified voters or to exclude/delete the name from the electoral roll who is disqualified for enrolment either in the prescribed manner at any time, except from the date of declara­tion of election schedule till completion of election process, under sections 10 and 11(1) or even at any time direct a special revision of the electoral roll for the said electoral area or constituency in such man­ner as it may deem fit, under section 11(2) of the Act No.6 of 2009.
