Details

‘Amalgamation’ means joining of various parcels of lands held by only one tenant so as to constitute one tenancy; and as such it is that tenant's problem alone. No other person, such as his co-sharer, is interested in it and that is why it may be ordered by the Revenue Officer either on his own motion or on an application made to him by the tenant; no notice of the amalgamation is required to be served upon anybody.
