Judicial Dictionary

The Courts of Law are there in democratic countries to find out the true intention of the legislature and the meaning of the statutes. In case of Bangladesh, pre-dominantly it is the House of Nation i.e. Jatya Shangshad which enacts primary legislations. Besides, the President of Bangladesh and some other authorities have the law making power by way of Ordinance and Subordinate and delegated legislation. In this section, we have tried to include some words of Bangladeshi Laws which were defined or interpreted by the Supreme Court of Bangladesh while deciding a case before them.
