Details | Nationality means Citizenship; quality of being part of a particular nation; patriotism; national ownership (of property). It is the status of belonging to a particular nation by birth or naturalization. Nationality is, in English usage, the legal relationship between a person and a country. “Nationality” in the sense of citizenship of a certain state must not be confused with nationality as meaning membership of a certain nation in the sense of race. In other words, nationality determines the civil rights of a person, natural or artificial particularly with reference to international law.
