| Details | The proceeds of every assessment to be levied under this Act in any village, together with any sum which may become applicable to the purposes of this Act, shall constitute a fund, which shall be called the Chaukidari Fund of such village. [See, section 23, the Village Chaukidari Act, 1870 (Bengal Act No. VI of 1870)][Now stands repealed by the President’s Order No. 18 of 1959]. |
