Details"encumbrance", in relation to any estate, tenure, holding, tenancy of land, means any mortgage, charge, lien, sub­tenancy, easement or other right or interest created by the holder thereof on such estate, tenure, holding, tenancy or land or in limitation of his own interest therein.

"encumbrances" includes mortgages and terminable charges.
