| Details | In the punishment of imprisonment for life, the imprisonment shall be rigorous. [See, explanation to section 53, the Penal Code, 1860 (Act No. XLV of 1860)]. In calculating fractions of terms of punishment imprisonment for life shall be reckoned as equivalent to rigorous imprisonment for thirty year. [See, explanation to section 57, the Penal Code, 1860 (Act No. XLV of 1860)]. |
